Another update on the Mercer Island house

The Mercer Island Home Remodel interior had some challenges to deal with. The original framers had framed a fire place surround that encompassed two stories. With the short sale we had no idea of what to do with it or how to complete it. Our team of designers and field staff come up with concrete. Mercer Island House, part 3

So from the last blog we were speaking of the veneer stone work on the Mercer Island Home. Here are the finished photos of the exterior. We finished the soffits with a clear cedar tongue and grove that was stained. The clear cedar has no knots in it so it gives it that clean linear look. Once the stucco was applied to the Mercer Island house we went to work with stone work. The stone masons used a stone veneer. It is a real stone that is cut into a veneer so it is smaller and easier to use. The masons recommended using a dry stack. Fatboy Construction starts new construction home in Steilacoom

We at Fatboy Construction recently broke ground for a custom construction home in Steilacoom, Washington. Here is a front view of the home. A large wrap-around porch will soon be constructed, giving the home a welcoming, traditional feel. We are nearly ready to start adding the siding as well. This project is coming together rapidly, with the plumbing and electrical already installed and inspections completed. We also have installed attractive Milgard windows throughout the house.
