History
After graduating from college and working as a commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea, Mike Boyle returned to his roots as a son of a Tacoma building contractor to found Fatboy Construction, Inc in 2001. Growing up in the construction industry, he developed a passion for fine detailed craftsmanship, a rare commodity in today’s turn-and-churn building industry. He and his crew operate around his values of providing personalized service based on the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Oh, about
the name…
While Mike was away at sea in Alaska, he would return to port to discover his favorite Dalmatian (lovingly nicknamed “Fatboy”) showed obvious signs of overeating. This gave him the inspiration to train for marathons together in order to restore his sleek appearance.
