This house was originally built in the 70’s with a lot of vinyl & carpeted flooring, wallpaper, outdated finishes and dark wood beams that all needed some updating.

This ramble was completely opened up throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room to create a nice flow. The sunken living room floor was raised to meet the dining room floor, all the dark wood beams and rails were removed or painted, the wall separating the kitchen and dining room was removed making a huge difference in the feel and look of the layout. The homeowner did an excellent job in selecting the finishes which pulled everything together nicely.

New ceramic tile flooring was installed throughout the house, custom cabinetry installed with granite countertops and tile backsplash, lighting was added and fixtures updated, new plumbing fixtures and appliances were installed to include a wine frig in the island (good choice!). Fresh paint, trim, doors and hardware were all updated.

This remodel really is one of those, “Wow, it looks completely different!” type of projects.  We had a lot of fun working with the homeowner on this one and happy that we were able to see her vision through. (Before and after photos on our Facebook page)
